Your body has an amazing host of defences; body wide and in constant communication with all parts of you. There is much talk of the immunity that we
acquire
in response to a specific invader, like a virus (like the ‘c’ word!) or bacteria, but less focus on that
innate
part of the immune system that is always on call in a more generalised way. What can get missed is how important our innate responses are in support of acquired immunity and the role it plays in both resistant to invaders and reducing symptoms of viral or bacterial infection.
In this webinar, Charlotte will explain what that means for us – in accessible and practical ways; in relation to our diet, movement, breath and lifestyle. She will begin with 30 minute presentation to both help your understanding of your immunity and to offer some key ways to support your natural defences. Then there will be an hour for discussion and questions. This will be the first of many such webinars on the first Wednesday of each month, so we can build on what you are keen to find out and glean topics Charlotte can cover in future sessions.
